The singer-songwriter behind it is Tricia Roberts, a musician whose own songs are on Spotify and Apple Music. Despite the name it covers cats and other pets too. A song is $85, or $189 with a video timed to the music, and it arrives within 10 days. The price is the same however many pets are in the song. If what you want is one real musician and you can wait up to 10 days, this is the one to beat, and it costs less than we do.

WhisperPaw Songs — a small Montana studio

Run by Lily and Ryan Whitaker in Montana. They describe the process as turning your story into original lyrics, music and vocals, then reviewing the finished song themselves before it goes out. Standard is $69 with 7-day delivery; Express is $99 in 24 hours. They report 1,200+ songs and 200+ memorial songs, and promise to rewrite the song or refund it within 30 days. Strong on memorials. Songfinch — choose your own artist

Songfinch says it has made over 400,000 songs, all by professional musicians with no AI used, by its own account. You pick the artist (or let them suggest some), and the song arrives in 1–7 days. It starts at $179.99 and includes up to five lines of lyric changes. It's built for every occasion, not pets specifically. Choose it when the artist matters most and budget isn't the deciding factor.

Songlorious — the premium, Shark Tank name

A custom-song brand for any occasion. It appeared on Shark Tank, says it has delivered 300,000+ songs, and its own FAQ describes the process as human-led and AI-assisted: songwriters write the lyrics, and producers build the track with licensed singers' voices. You can edit the lyrics before recording, and delivery is 1–4 days. Its FAQ prices songs by length: from $200 for two minutes, $250 for three, up to $395 for six. Custom Dog Songs — artistic and pet-only

Songs are written by Sierra West, a Berklee-trained songwriter who is also a veterinary technician. It's $250 per song. She takes a limited number of commissions and the site doesn't give a delivery time, so ask before you order for a date. A strong pick if you want something artistic and budget isn't the constraint.

BarkaTune — a dog song with extras

Built for dogs, with custom album art, the option to fold your dog's bark into the track, and release to Spotify and Apple Music. Its FAQ says AI helps create the melodies and people edit and polish the result. The Gold package is $35, delivery is 1–3 days, and you get one free melody revision but no refunds. Fun if the presentation matters as much as the song.

CustomSongMe — fast and budget-friendly

Songs for pets and people from "Dan the Song Man", delivered within 24 hours. Its site says the songs are made with AI-assisted music tools under his creative direction. It's $30 for the MP3, or $50 with a video, cover art and a lyric sheet. The $50 video is posted publicly on their YouTube channel; keeping it unlisted costs $75, worth knowing for a memorial song. Pet Anthemz — instant AI that gives back

Pet Anthemz's AI writes the lyrics and makes two versions of the song in a few minutes. One track is $9.99 and both are $14.99, and it gives 20% of profits to shelters. AudioPup — the cheapest instant novelty

AudioPup's dog songs are ready in about three minutes for $5.99, with lyrics, a melody and album art. Perfect for a low-stakes laugh. Like any instant tool, it won't have the finished feel of a made-to-order song.

Tailsong — a pet song with a safety net

That's us. Tailsong is pets-only at $99: an original song written from your pet's name, quirks, and your story, then reviewed by real people before it goes out. If it isn't right, we re-do it free as many times as it takes until you love it. There's a dedicated memorial line, and 24-hour delivery is available for $59 more. It's the middle ground between the $6 instant tools and the $250 commissions, and the re-dos matter, because the real risk with any of these is ending up with a song that's just… fine.
