A memorial song for the pet you lost

A pet memorial song is an original song written about your pet — their name, their habits, the life you had together — recorded for you and kept on a private page you can play, download and share. Ours is $99 and arrives within three days. It’s made from your story, and a person reviews it before it reaches you.

I’m sorry you’re here. Below: what it is, what happens after you order, what it costs, what everyone else charges, and the three kinds of people it isn’t the right thing for. No rush from our end — a song keeps.

What it costs and how long it takes

The song$99
Deliveredwithin 3 days
If you need it sooner+$59, within 24 hours
If it isn’t rightwe re-do it, free, as many times as it takes

There’s one price. No tiers, no add-ons beyond the rush option, and the price is the same whether the song is a celebration or a goodbye. Charging more for grief was not something we were willing to do, and that isn’t a promotion — it’s just the price.

What you actually get

Once you’ve finished the form there is nothing for you to chase or manage. When the song is ready, an email arrives with a link to a private page. On it:

  • The song. Original, written about your pet, with their name in it.
  • Their photo, as the page’s cover, under the words In loving memory.
  • Their story, in the words you wrote it in.
  • The lyrics, on the page and as a file you can download and keep.
  • The audio, as a high-quality download. Save it somewhere of your own and it’s yours.
  • A link you can share, or not. Nobody finds the page who isn’t given it.
  • A tribute wall. Anyone you send the link to can leave a message for them, and a photo. It’s there for the friends and family who knew your pet — the ones who also miss them.

We built that last part on purpose. A song is something you mostly listen to alone. The tribute wall is what turns the page into somewhere other people can come and say something too.

What we ask you

The form takes about five minutes and you do not have to be a writer. One sentence is enough — we shape the rest. It’s also worth reading this part even if you buy from someone else, because what you put in the brief matters more than which service you pick.

It asks their name, how long you had together, and for a photo if you have one to hand. Then it asks when they passed — anywhere from within the last week to more than a year ago — because a song written a week afterwards is not the same song as one written for a fifth anniversary, and we’d rather know than guess.

Then it asks what brought you here. The options are the real ones: the house feels too quiet, I’m afraid I’ll forget the little things, a special date is coming up, I want more than a photo, I’m finally ready to honor them.

Then the two that matter most: what made them them, and if you could say one thing to them. The second one becomes the emotional center of the song. Take as long as you need with it — but one honest warning: write that one somewhere else first and paste it in — the form doesn’t save as you go.

Last, you choose how it sounds — twelve options, including country, acoustic and worship, plus an “other” box if none of them is it — and whose voice the song is in: from you to them, from them to you, or both of you together. Country and acoustic are the two we’ve built the most memorial samples around.

Hear one before you decide

Two memorial songs are on our samples section and you can play them without giving us anything. Always My Cooper is the country one — a slow piano ballad, the kind of song you’d end up playing in the car. Over the Rainbow Bridge is quieter and more fingerpicked, and closer to what most people have in their head when they imagine this.

Two minutes of either will tell you more than the rest of this page will. If they aren’t what you wanted, that’s a real answer, and finding it out costs you nothing.

Who this isn’t for

If you want something you can hold. A song is audio. It is not a paw print, an urn, a portrait or a piece of jewelry with their ashes in it, and on the days when what you want is to hold something, a song won’t do that. We wrote an honest rundown of the physical pet memorial gifts worth buying, most of which aren’t ours. There’s no reason it has to be one or the other, but if you’re choosing only one and you aren’t sure which, buy the thing you can hold.

If you need it today. Twenty-four hours with the rush option is the fastest we go, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If there’s a service this afternoon we are the wrong choice — an instant generator will make you something in minutes for about ten dollars, and there’s one named further down this page. It won’t sound like your dog. It will exist today, and sometimes that’s the whole constraint.

If you can’t face listening to it yet. That is not a reason not to order. A song keeps. You can fill in the form now, while the details are still sharp and you can still hear their name the way you say it, and then leave the email unopened for as long as you need — until the anniversary, until next year, until whenever. The page doesn’t expire and the download stays there. The only thing that will arrive in the meantime is a single check-in from me a few days after delivery, and there’s an unsubscribe link on it.

If you’d rather not order from us

We’re not the only people who do this, and for a few buyers we’re plainly not the best answer. Here is the field as it actually stood on 29 October 2026, checked on each company’s own pages.

Read that table and then pick honestly:

  • If $99 is more than you want to spend right now — and that is a completely reasonable thing to feel — WhisperPaw Songs is $69, and every song is reviewed before it’s sent by Lily and Ryan, the couple who run it from Montana. You wait seven days instead of three. That is a good trade and I’d take it.
  • If you want to hear something before you pay anything — My Forever Songs gives you a free preview and unlocks the full song for $39. If hearing something first is what matters most, that is a fair reason to choose them. You can also listen to two finished memorial songs of ours on the homepage before you decide. Prices in this category move — at least one of the services above was running a half-price sale the week we last checked. Check what any of them actually costs today before you decide on price.

How we make them

The lyrics come from what you tell us — your words, your details. A person reviews the finished song before it’s sent — that’s the whole reason a memorial order takes three days rather than three minutes. Our about page has the short version of who that is.

If you want to see how we compare with everyone else in this category, we keep an honest comparison of every custom pet song service, including the ones that beat us on price.

When you’re ready: start their song. And if you’d rather ask something first, that’s fine too — nothing about this is urgent from our end.
